On December 27, ONDA's website and services went offline for four hours due to a domain verification error during site maintenance. Here's what happened and how to clear lingering cache issues.
Hello,
This is ONDA, your digital infrastructure partner for the hospitality industry.
We're writing to address the ONDA website and service access issues that occurred on December 27, 2022, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM (KST), affecting our homepage and services (Plus, Wave, EasySell).
During routine website renewal work, a domain verification error occurred. ONDA identified and patched the issue at approximately 2:40 PM on December 27. However, it may take some time for the fix to propagate to all devices.
In some cases, residual DNS cache data on your device may still cause access errors. If you're experiencing issues, please try the following:
- WiFi users: Power cycle your WiFi router (turn it off, wait, turn it back on).
- App users: Delete the app, reinstall, and log in again.
- PC/Windows users: Close all browsers → Open Command Prompt by typing
cmdin the search bar (Windows 10+) or clicking Run and typingcmd(Windows 7 and earlier) → Typeipconfig/flushdnsand press Enter.
We sincerely apologize for the disruption to your service.
Moving forward, we'll conduct more thorough reviews before system updates to prevent similar issues.
Once again, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience.
— ONDA
