ONDA Launches Public Hiring for 50+ Roles in H1 2022
— Following recognition from Google and Airbnb, hospitality tech leader ONDA opens public hiring
— Recruiting across five functions: Development, Product, BizOps, Marketing, Design
— Looking for talent committed to building a healthier hospitality ecosystem
(Press Release — April 28, 2022) ONDA, the hospitality tech company driving hotel digitization in Korea, is drawing serious attention from top talent with its latest hiring push.
ONDA (CEO Oh Hyun-seok) announced on April 28 that it's launching a major H1 2022 hiring campaign to accelerate digital transformation (DX) in hospitality and build out its talent infrastructure across every function.
The timing makes sense. After earning back-to-back validation from Google, Airbnb, and others, ONDA has seen an influx of inbound interest from developers and specialists. This hiring drive is designed to lock in that momentum—securing the team it needs to solidify its competitive edge and scale into new markets.
The company is hiring across five core functions—Development, Product, BizOps, Marketing, and Design—spanning 22 distinct roles. Candidates who meet the baseline qualifications and fit the role requirements will be considered. The hiring target is around 50 people, and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Engineering roles are open continuously.
Here's how it works: head to ONDA's website, submit your portfolio and resume (free-form) via the "Quick Apply" tool. If you pass the resume screen, you'll go through a first-round interview with the hiring team, then a second-round with executives. Depending on the role, expect an English interview or coding test. Full details on open positions and qualifications are available on ONDA's careers page.
ONDA is backing this hiring push with strong benefits and a healthy org culture. The company recently spun up a dedicated "People & Culture" team—separate from HR—to support talent acquisition and retention. Employees who refer successful hires can earn up to ₩10 million. Monthly stipends cover team dinners, club activities, and lunches to keep collaboration flowing across teams.
And here's the kicker: as a travel and hospitality company, ONDA gives every employee four nights and five days of travel leave annually—on top of standard PTO. With access to 70% of Korea's accommodation inventory, employees get discounted stays whenever they book. The company also provides top-tier hardware, and teams have flexibility around work hours and remote work based on their needs.
"This hiring round is part of our plan to build world-class talent infrastructure as we lead digital transformation—not just in Korea, but across global hospitality," said Lee Seung-jun, ONDA's People & Culture Lead. "We're looking for professionals who put customers and the market first, and who want to help build a healthier accommodation ecosystem."
ONDA is Korea's first company to operate across three hospitality verticals simultaneously: Online Booking Solutions (OBS), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and Hotel Management (HM). The company recently ranked 7th among Korean tech companies in the Financial Times' 2022 Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies, and made Skift's Global PMS Vendor list at #34—the first Korean company to do so.
