Targeting 100+ hotels in Taiwan this year to prove global competitiveness

ONDA Expands to Taiwan After Southeast Asia Push

- ONDA launches all-in-one solution (PMS, CMS, BE) optimized for Taiwanese hotels

- Following last year's international expansion into Southeast Asia, now entering Taiwan

- Aiming to onboard 100+ hotels in Taiwan this year to prove global competitiveness

(Press Release — July 11, 2023) Hospitality tech company ONDA is entering the Taiwanese market with an all-in-one solution tailored for local hotels.

On July 11, ONDA officially launched its SaaS-based hospitality solutions — including property management system (PMS), channel management system (CMS), and booking engine (BE) for small and midsize hotels — in Taiwan. The company also launched a Chinese-language website (tw.onda.me) to actively serve Greater China demand.

Many Taiwanese accommodations still manage reservations and room inventory manually, creating significant market opportunity for tech solutions. As hotels increasingly adopt hospitality software for efficiency, ONDA plans to accelerate its push into Taiwan's hotel and resort market.

ONDA is currently in detailed talks with 10+ major hotel brands in Taiwan — including K Hotels Group, which operates nine properties across the island — about deploying PMS, CMS, and BE solutions. The company aims to sign solution partnerships with over 100 properties in Taiwan this year.

ONDA PMS and all its solutions are delivered via Software as a Service (SaaS). Local hotels praised the seamless user experience and robust reporting features, recognizing the platform's technical excellence. The system's integration with ONDA HUB — Korea's largest room sales network — also received high marks, enabling efficient room sales and reservation management across 50+ channels.

ONDA formally launched its international expansion last year and is now pushing into Taiwan, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Europe after Southeast Asia.

"ONDA's all-in-one solution — from room management to online sales and revenue optimization — is receiving strong interest in global markets," said CEO Oh Hyun-seok. "We'll prove our competitiveness in the global hospitality tech market by succeeding in Taiwan."

ONDA is a hospitality tech and data company covering roughly 60–70% of Korea's online room transaction market. The company has built solid partnerships with global big tech firms, becoming Korea's first Airbnb Premier Partner and Google Hotels' first domestic partner.

ONDA also became the first Korean company ranked on Skift's Global PMS Vendors list (34th place), cementing its position as a leader in the global hotel tech market. Last year, it was selected for the Ministry of SMEs' Baby Unicorn program and named to the Financial Times' High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific list for two consecutive years (2022–2023).
