(Press Release — October 11, 2023 / Wednesday) Hospitality tech company ONDA is heading to Dubai's biggest startup expo.

ONDA announced today it will participate in Expand North Star 2023 (North Star), taking place October 15–18 at Dubai Harbour.

Organized annually by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, North Star draws startups from over 100 countries and more than 1,000 venture capital firms. The Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA) has opened a Korea Pavilion this year, where ONDA will set up a booth.

ONDA plans to spotlight Dive — its cloud-based PMS built for premium hotels and resorts — alongside ONDA Plus, an integrated solution for room sales and operations. Dive is designed to replace legacy enterprise PMSs with a lighter, faster alternative, and it's ONDA's flagship product for global expansion.

At North Star, ONDA will meet with local investors, global hotel chains, and fellow hotel tech companies to unlock real business opportunities.

Having laid the groundwork for international growth since 2022, ONDA views 2023 as its true global breakout year. The company has upgraded ONDA HUB (formerly ONDA GDS) to meet global standards and now supplies SaaS-based PMSs and booking engines like Dive and Wave G to hotels worldwide, leading the charge in digital transformation.

"North Star 2023 is the perfect stage to introduce ONDA's technology to the global hotel market," said CEO Oh Hyun-seok. "We're grateful to KOSA and the Global Digital Innovation Network (GDIN) for their support."

ONDA covers roughly 60–70% of Korea's online room distribution market and is a leading hospitality tech and data company. It was Airbnb's first Preferred Partner in Korea and Google's first hotel partner in the country, building strong ties with global tech giants.

ONDA also became the first Korean company to appear on Skift's Global PMS Vendor list, debuting at #34. This year, it was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Baby Unicorn Plus program and named an Asia-Pacific High-Growth Company by the Financial Times for the second consecutive year (2022–2023).
