(Press Release — March 30, 2023 / Thursday) Hospitality tech company ONDA joined the International Hotel Technology Forum, earning recognition for its technical capabilities from leading hotels and industry experts around the world.

ONDA announced on March 30 that it participated in the International Hotel Technology Forum 2023, held in Vienna, Austria from March 28–30, where it delivered a keynote address on digital transformation (DX) and held business meetings.

During the forum, ONDA conducted in-depth meetings with executives from prominent North American and European hotel and resort groups regarding joint digital transformation projects. ONDA's proprietary Property Management System (PMS) 'Dive' and its suite of hospitality solutions — including membership programs, guest experience enhancement tools, and energy-saving features — received strong acclaim.

ONDA shared that its solutions were rated superior to existing offerings from the U.S. and Europe — the traditional home of hotel tech — in user experience (UX), connectivity with channel managers and OTAs, and cloud-based data management. As a result, ONDA plans to continue follow-up meetings with multiple global hotel chains.

On the forum's opening afternoon, ONDA delivered a keynote address, showcasing its technical capabilities and vision to the global hotel market. Having declared 2023 its inaugural year for global expansion, ONDA has been proving its potential in overseas markets by recently signing partnerships with leading hotels in Southeast Asia.

"This forum confirmed that hotels around the world are betting everything on strengthening their digital capabilities," said Oh Hyun-seok, CEO of ONDA. "We will work hard to support digital transformation for hotels across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and beyond with hospitality solutions that lead the global market."

The International Hotel Technology Forum, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is the largest networking event dedicated to discussing the latest trends and future directions in hotel technology. According to IHTF, over 1,000 major hotels and hotel tech companies participated this year, discussing numerous topics centered on hotel digital transformation.

ONDA is a hospitality tech and data company covering approximately 60–70% of Korea's online room transaction market. It has built solid partnerships with global big-tech firms, including being Korea's first Airbnb Premier Partner and the first domestic partner selected by Google Hotels.

Last year, ONDA was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Baby Unicorn program and has been named to the Financial Times' 'High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific' list for two consecutive years (2022–2023). It also became the first Korean company to appear on Skift's 'Global PMS Vendors' list, ranking 34th, and is emerging as a front-runner in the global hotel tech market.
