(Press Release — February 6, 2023) Hospitality tech startup ONDA has joined forces with Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International's premium home rental platform, to drive inbound tourism to Korea.

On February 6, ONDA announced it began supplying Korean properties to Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy through a channel management system (CMS) and global distribution system (GDS) partnership.

This marks the first home management partnership between an Asian hospitality tech company and Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy. ONDA will supply Korean accommodations to the private home rental platform. More than 1,700 rooms are currently listed, with more to come.

Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy is a premium and luxury home rental collection launched by Marriott International in May 2019. It curates over 100,000 premium and luxury properties across 700+ destinations worldwide. All listings meet Marriott's rigorous standards for design, cleanliness, safety, and amenities—and are professionally maintained.

ONDA aims to make Korean properties easily discoverable to Marriott Bonvoy's 173+ million members worldwide. Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy, in turn, plans to run active promotions with ONDA—which operates Korea's largest accommodation sales network—to boost domestic inbound tourism.

"We're thrilled to introduce Korea's unique accommodations to global travelers through Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy," said Oh Hyun-seok, CEO of ONDA. "We'll continue partnering with global companies to create an environment where Korean properties can welcome international guests from around the world."

ONDA is a hospitality tech and data company that covers roughly 70% of Korea's online room distribution market. The company has built strong partnerships with global tech giants—including becoming Airbnb's first Official Partner in Korea and Google Hotels' first partner in the country.

Last year, ONDA was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Baby Unicorn program and ranked 7th among Korean tech companies in the Financial Times' 2022 High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific list. It also became the first Korean company to appear on Skift's Global PMS Vendor list, ranking 34th—cementing its position as a global hospitality tech leader.
