Hospitality tech company ONDA is presenting the current state and future roadmap of hotel technology at Korea Hotel Show 2022.
On the 13th, ONDA announced its participation in the 10th Korea Hotel Show, taking place at COEX Hall D from June 16–18.
According to research from Skift and other leading hospitality media, 73% of hotel guests no longer want face-to-face check-in with staff, and 74% prefer delivery robots for room service. Digital transformation is now core to hotel operations.
At this year's Hotel Show, ONDA will focus on consulting for digital transformation (DX) and online booking solutions (OBS) — essential for hotels in the endemic era — while promoting use cases for the ONDA GDS (Global Distribution System), which covers 60–70% of Korea's online room inventory network.
The booth will feature live demos and consultations for specialized PMS (Property Management Systems) tailored to hotels, resorts, and pensions; the ONDA Channel Manager optimized for global OTAs like Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, and Airbnb; and Google Hotel integrations.
On-site consultations will also be available for ONDA PLUS, the all-in-one room sales and management solution for small and midsize properties — trusted by the industry for six years. The service is designed to foster win-win relationships between independent operators and diverse distribution channels.
ONDA has built a GDS network connecting 38 sales channels, including Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia, Yanolja, Yeogi Eottae, and MyRealTrip. Through this network, ONDA captures data on 70% of Korea's online room inventory, enabling hotels to optimize online sales while supplying high-quality inventory to OTAs and platforms.
Direct-to-consumer (D2C) transactions — such as those via Google Hotel, which connect guests directly to properties — have been doubling month-over-month since the latter half of last year, fueling online business growth for hotels.
At Korea Hotel Show 2022, CEO Oh Hyun-seok will deliver a keynote titled "The New Era Shaken Up by Post-COVID Digitalization — How the Hotel Industry Must Prepare" on June 16 at 11:50 a.m.
"We've prepared to help visitors get the most out of their time at our booth," said Mi-hee Lim, General Manager at ONDA. "We'll show in detail how a hospitality tech company can create win-win partnerships with the industry in the post-COVID, endemic era."
ONDA is a hospitality tech and data company covering 70% of Korea's online room transaction market. The company recently ranked 7th among Korean tech firms on the Financial Times' "2022 Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies" list, and became the first Korean company to make Skift's "Global PMS Vendors" ranking at #34 — cementing its position as a leader in the global hotel tech market.
