(Press Release — October 2, 2024) Hospitality tech company ONDA is heading to MENA's (Middle East and North Africa) largest ICT expo.

ONDA announced today it will participate in Expand North Star 2024 (North Star), running October 13–16 at Dubai Harbour.

North Star is hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and is the region's largest tech expo, bringing together approximately 1,800 startups and 1,000 venture capital firms from around the world. ONDA will showcase its latest technology and solutions at the Seoul Pavilion operated by Invest Seoul, Seoul's foreign investment promotion agency.

At the expo, ONDA plans to pursue tangible business opportunities including investor meetings and sales partnerships with local hotel chains.

The company will introduce its best-in-class hotel solutions to major Middle Eastern hotel chains and present tailored digital transformation strategies for the local market. ONDA is bringing multiple solutions critical to hotel digitalization, led by its CRS (Central Reservation System), along with PMS (Property Management System) and BE (Booking Engine).

ONDA will also showcase ONDA HUB, the core of its online distribution platform business. Through ONDA HUB, hotels in the Middle East can sell rooms to Korean customers with exceptional ease.

ONDA will also participate in a Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry seminar to strengthen local networks and explore additional business opportunities through partnerships. Following its successful market entry earlier this year through a strategic partnership with Dubai's SEED Group, ONDA plans to use this expo as a springboard to expand partnerships with more local hotels.

"We're grateful to Invest Seoul for their support in making this happen," said Oh Hyun-seok, CEO of ONDA. "We're looking to discover new growth drivers for ONDA in the MENA hotel market, which has boundless potential."

ONDA is a hospitality tech and data company covering approximately 60–70% of Korea's online room transaction market. It has built solid partnerships with global big tech companies, becoming Korea's first Airbnb and Trip.com preferred partner and earning Booking.com's 2024 Advanced Connectivity Partner designation.

ONDA also ranked 34th on Skift's "Global PMS Vendors" list—the first Korean company to make the cut—cementing its position as a leader in the global hotel tech market. Last year it was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Baby Unicorn Plus program, and has been named to the Financial Times' "High-Growth Companies: Asia-Pacific" list three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024. <END>
