- Covers latest trends in Korea's online accommodation market and sales strategies

- Draws on years of ONDA transaction data and channel management expertise

(Press Release—July 2, 2024) Hospitality tech company ONDA has released a free guidebook to help Korea's independent accommodation operators sell more rooms online.

ONDA (CEO Oh Hyun-seok) announced today the publication of its "Pension Sales Guidebook," which covers the latest trends in Korea's online accommodation market and practical sales strategies. The guidebook is available for free download on the Pension Plus section of ONDA's website.

Korea's online accommodation market has grown rapidly and shows no signs of slowing. As online distribution becomes the dominant channel and new platforms continue to emerge, operators face mounting pressure to maintain visibility across multiple sales channels.

The guidebook was created to help independent operators of pensions, pool villas, and similar properties navigate this increasingly complex landscape. It draws on over 4,000 daily transactions processed through ONDA's platform and years of accumulated channel management expertise.

Contents include: ▲trends in Korea's online accommodation market ▲types and characteristics of online sales channels ▲online sales strategies ▲real consultation case studies—everything small and mid-sized operators need to know to succeed in online distribution.

"This guidebook is meant as a baseline market primer for independent accommodation operators entering the online space," said an ONDA spokesperson. "We hope it proves useful in day-to-day operations. ONDA will continue working to help Korea's hospitality industry maximize online sales and revenue."

ONDA is a hospitality tech and data company that covers approximately 60–70% of Korea's online room transaction market. The company is Korea's first Airbnb and Trip.com Premium Partner, and was named a 2024 Booking.com Advanced Connectivity Partner, cementing strong relationships with global tech platforms.

ONDA was also the first Korean company to appear on Skift's Global PMS Vendor Rankings, debuting at #34, and is emerging as a leader in the global hotel tech space. Last year, the company was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Baby Unicorn Plus program, and has been named to the Financial Times' High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific list three years running (2022–2024). <end>
