ONDA Pension Plus Launches SMS Service for Personalized Guest Marketing

- Messaging tool for small and midsize property owners

- ONDA Pension Plus serves 3,000+ properties nationwide

- Automates routine tasks, boosts efficiency and guest satisfaction

(Press Release — September 9, 2024) Pension Plus, ONDA's online sales management platform for guesthouses and pool villas, has launched an SMS service to help small and midsize property owners drive revenue.

ONDA (CEO Oh Hyun-seok) announced the official launch of its messaging service for guesthouses, pool villas, and other small to midsize properties. The feature is built into ONDA's free pension management system (PMS).

Pension Plus currently serves over 3,000 small accommodation businesses across Korea, and user adoption has surged this year.

The new SMS service supports both manual one-off messages and automated template-based campaigns. Owners can send reservation details, check-in instructions, and other personalized information tailored to each guest. Frequently used templates can be set to auto-send, streamlining repetitive tasks and improving the guest experience — ultimately driving repeat bookings.

As personalized marketing becomes more critical in hospitality, the SMS tool also helps properties upsell ancillary services like pool access, barbecue facilities, and breakfast packages.

ONDA plans to roll out additional features to help small and midsize property owners manage bookings more efficiently and increase revenue.

"With more properties moving to contactless check-in, clear guest communication and personalized marketing are more important than ever," said Bang Hye-sun, Head of Pension Business at ONDA. "We're committed to helping small accommodation businesses strengthen guest engagement, boost satisfaction, and drive repeat visits."

ONDA is a hospitality tech and data company that covers 60–70% of Korea's online room distribution market. It was the first Korean company to become a Premier Partner with Airbnb and Trip.com, and in 2024 earned Advanced Connectivity Partner status with Booking.com — reflecting its strong partnerships with global tech platforms.

ONDA is also the first Korean company to appear on Skift's Global PMS Vendor List, ranking 34th, and is emerging as a leader in the global hotel tech space. Last year, it was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Baby Unicorn Plus program. The Financial Times has recognized ONDA as a High-Growth Company in Asia-Pacific for three consecutive years (2022–2024). <end>
