ONDA Pension Plus: Pool Villas and Pensions See Strong Growth on Global OTAs

ONDA (CEO Oh Hyun-seok) announced that its online distribution service 'Pension Plus' saw Q1 pool villa sales on global OTAs jump 53% year-over-year and 304% compared to Q1 2022. Pension sales also grew 74% from Q1 2022 to Q1 2024.

Pension Plus's biggest advantage: a single contract gets you onto not just domestic booking platforms, but international channels like Agoda, Airbnb, Trip.com, and Google. Properties can choose from over 40 major online sites.

The recent addition of Booking.com — one of the world's largest OTAs — promises even more revenue upside for Pension Plus partners selling pool villas and pensions.

Pension Plus is proving to be a critical gateway for Korea's small and mid-sized accommodation operators to reach overseas travelers. Manage photos, inventory, and pricing for every channel in one place — no need to juggle multiple dashboards. Settlements and tax filing are streamlined too: receive consolidated payments once a month with a single revenue document covering all channels.

An ONDA spokesperson noted, "International OTA users tend to seek high-quality, unique experiences — which is why newly opened pool villas and family-oriented kid-friendly villas are performing especially well."

ONDA covers roughly 60–70% of Korea's online room transaction market. The company is an official Premium Partner of Airbnb and Trip.com (a first in Korea), a 2024 Booking.com Advanced Connectivity Partner, and has built strong alliances with global tech giants.

ONDA also became the first Korean company to rank on Skift's Global PMS Vendor list (34th place), cementing its position as a leader in global hotel tech. Last year the company was selected for Korea's Baby Unicorn Plus program, and it has appeared on the Financial Times' High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific list three years running (2022–2024). <End>
