ONDA Closes Series B Bridge Round to Accelerate AI-Powered Hospitality Innovation

(Press Release — April 4, 2025) Hospitality AI company ONDA announced today it has successfully closed a Series B bridge financing round.

The round was led by Gowid, a B2B credit fintech platform, which cited ONDA's growth trajectory and stable operational metrics as key reasons for its investment. Existing investors also participated. The amount raised has not been disclosed.

Founded in 2016, ONDA is a B2B AI SaaS provider for hotels and accommodations. Its flagship product, ONDA HUB — an integrated channel manager covering 60–70% of Korea's online accommodation booking market — anchors a full suite of solutions for hotels and smaller lodging operators.

Gowid serves over 3,500 companies with corporate credit cards, recording ₩700 billion in credit volume in 2024 alone. The company is targeting ₩2 trillion this year. Known for backing high-potential businesses with flexible credit, Gowid sees this investment as part of a broader push to support promising startups like ONDA.

The timing is critical. Korea's hospitality sector is moving fast from digitization to AI adoption — and this funding gives ONDA the runway it needs to scale.

ONDA plans to double down on its services for small and midsize accommodation owners, while accelerating development of AX (AI Transformation) tools. A major milestone: launching an AI Agent powered by large language models (LLMs) and property-specific data in the first half of this year. Think of it as a virtual operations assistant tailored to the hospitality industry.

ONDA's mission is to transform accommodation businesses through technology. Not just digitize — automate. The goal is to radically simplify operations for small property owners and accelerate digital transformation across the sector.

"Having a partner like Gowid behind us is a huge boost," said ONDA CEO Oh Hyun-seok. "This funding lets us focus on building AI Agent services that make operational efficiency radically accessible — even for owners who've struggled with digital tools. We're talking about motels, pensions, pool villas — properties run by lean teams. AI can make them smarter and more efficient, and that's what we're building."

ONDA covers roughly 60–70% of Korea's online room transactions. It's Korea's first Airbnb and Trip.com Premier Partner, a 2024 Booking.com Advanced Connectivity Partner, and ranks #34 on Skift's Global PMS Vendor list — the first Korean company to make the cut. Last year, ONDA was selected for Korea's Baby Unicorn Plus program and made the Financial Times' High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific list for the third year in a row.
