ONDA Launches Hotel Booking on TMAP Platform
- ONDA becomes exclusive launch partner for 'TMAP Accommodation Booking' using its BookingOn commerce builder
- ONDA supplies tailored inventory that matches platform needs and user demand
- Leading the 'Mobility Life' trend that bridges travel and mobility services
(Press Release — October 27, 2023) Users can now book ONDA-powered accommodations directly through TMAP, Korea's leading mobility platform.
ONDA (CEO Oh Hyun-seok) announced on the 27th that it will supply hotel and resort inventory to 'TMAP Accommodation Booking' through its BookingOn commerce builder.
BookingOn is ONDA's solution that enables accommodation sales on nearly any platform. Depending on the platform's needs, it can deliver inventory via ASP (Application Service Provider), API (Application Programming Interface), iframe, and other integration methods.
Booking through TMAP is straightforward. After searching for a property on TMAP and tapping 'Book Now', users can see ▲room types ▲availability ▲pricing ▲payment options at a glance. Select a room, complete payment, and you're done. Certain properties and dates feature TMAP-exclusive deals or lowest price guarantees.
Users now get a complete travel experience — navigation to destinations, recommendations for nearby restaurants, cafes, and attractions, plus accommodation booking and payment — all in one place.
With this launch, TMAP Mobility plans to lead the 'Mobility Life' market trend, integrating travel and mobility services. ONDA will actively respond to user needs by supplying inventory customized for the TMAP platform.
"The accommodation booking service embodies TMAP's commitment to be with customers at every moment of their journey," said Kim Do-hyun, Head of New Business at TMAP Mobility. "We'll do everything we can to ensure our 20 million users enjoy this new service conveniently and affordably."
"As a loyal TMAP user myself for over 10 years, I feel an even greater responsibility to supply excellent rooms," said ONDA CEO Oh Hyun-seok.
ONDA is a hospitality tech and data company covering 60–70% of Korea's online room transaction market. The company has built strong partnerships with global tech giants — including becoming Airbnb's first premium partner in Korea and Google Hotels' first domestic partner.
ONDA also ranks 34th on Skift's 'Global PMS Vendors' list — the first Korean company to make the cut — and is emerging as a leader in the global hotel tech space. This year, ONDA was selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Baby Unicorn Plus program and named to the Financial Times' 'High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific' list for two consecutive years (2022–2023).
