(Press Release — February 28, 2024) Hospitality tech company ONDA is officially entering the Middle East and North Africa markets through a partnership with UAE-based Seed Group.
ONDA (CEO Oh Hyun-seok) announced on the 28th that it has signed a strategic partnership with Seed Group (CEO Hesham Al Qassim) to digitize hotels across the MENA region and will establish a local joint venture.
Seed Group is the private office of Sheikh Saeed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum, a member of the Dubai Royal Family. The group partners with companies worldwide to support their Middle East expansion and sustainable growth.
Over the past 20 years, Seed Group has built successful relationships with numerous global companies and maintains extensive infrastructure across IT, hospitality, healthcare, and telecommunications in the Middle East.
Through this partnership, ONDA will accelerate hotel digital transformation across MENA and GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) regions. Leveraging Seed Group's local network, ONDA plans to improve customer experience and operational efficiency for existing hotels while expanding its SaaS-based PMS (Property Management System) and CRS (Central Reservation System) to newly built properties.
ONDA is emerging as a global hospitality tech leader by revolutionizing online sales and operations for hotels and accommodation businesses worldwide. The company currently distributes 700,000 properties across 50+ online channels and provides operational solutions to approximately 4,500 properties, driving digital transformation across the global accommodation industry.
