(ONDA—May 11, 2021/Tue) Hospitality B2B startup ONDA has signed an industry–academia partnership and hiring MOU with Mirim Girls' Information Science High School (Mirim Meister High School) to nurture creative IT talent — and is hosting a recruitment event for students on May 12.
The partnership is designed to help high schoolers pursuing developer careers build skills they can use on the job, and connect them directly to employment opportunities that support their professional goals.
ONDA will work closely with Mirim Meister to run NCS (National Competency Standards) programs tied to hands-on coursework. The company will provide technical training and integrate its content library and IT infrastructure into the curriculum. Collaboration spans industry-aligned course development, joint projects and technical research, guest lectures and internship placements, and hiring commitments for current students and graduates.
Tomorrow (May 12), ONDA kicks things off by visiting Mirim Meister for a recruitment event. After presenting the company, culture, and roles, ONDA will hold one-on-one interviews with students who signed up in advance.
ONDA CEO Oh Hyun-seok said, "We want to support Mirim Meister students with developer ambitions — from hands-on training all the way to employment — so they can pursue their dreams. Starting with this recruitment event, we'll build synergies that help both students and the company grow together."
ONDA brings together a wide range of talent — from a CEO who started as a developer, to veteran engineers with over 10 years of experience, to developers who've worked internationally — all sharing expertise and pushing the hospitality industry forward with technology. Last year, ONDA recorded ₩74.1 billion in transaction volume and ₩5.1 billion in revenue. The company operates a hospitality all-in-one business spanning accommodation product distribution (GDS), property management systems (PMS), and room consignment sales (GSA). (End)
