# Top 10 Most Booked Destinations in Jeolla Provinces (December)

Hi. ONDA here — leading the digital transformation of Korea's hospitality ecosystem.

Welcome back to Trend ON Big Data, where we share live market intelligence for hospitality operators.

This time we're diving into **December booking trends in Jeolla provinces and the top 10 most-booked destinations**.

### **Top 10 Most Booked Destinations in Jeolla (December)**

Let's start with the overall trend.

**Peak booking day in Jeolla: Wednesday, December 28.** Lowest: Saturday, December 24.

By day of week, **Thursdays took the top spot with 17.11% share**.

Sundays saw the fewest bookings.

So which cities and counties led the pack?

**#1: Yeosu, South Jeolla.**

Yeosu held onto first place from November — and strengthened its lead.

Its share **jumped 3.95 percentage points month-over-month to 39.95%** in December.

Jeonju and Buan followed in 2nd and 3rd, same as the previous month.

The standout mover? **Muju County**.

Muju climbed **four spots**, with share rising 2.02%p.

**Winter ski season traffic clearly drove the surge.**

Across the top 10, seven destinations saw share decline month-over-month — Yeosu, Muju, and Goheung were the exceptions.

Still, some managed to rank higher despite losing share.

Mokpo (2.13%) and Wando (1.46%) each moved up one spot from November.

### **How to Stay Fully Booked in Low Season**

You need more eyeballs on your property.

People search for accommodations across multiple touchpoints: search engines, travel apps and sites, map apps, word of mouth — and increasingly, social media.

That means **multichannel distribution** is critical. So is an active SNS presence.

According to ONDA's internal data, Pension Plus clients listing on **31+ channels saw transaction value rise ~14% and bookings increase 16%** for pension-style properties.

**Smaller accommodations saw even bigger gains: 38% in revenue, 50% in bookings.**

With Pension Plus, you can **list on up to 40 domestic and international channels at once** — and get **₩1.5 million worth of marketing support** if social promotion isn't your thing.

#### **Join 400,000+ rooms already on Pension Plus**
