Chungcheong posted gains in both bookings and revenue from December to January.
Nationwide, revenue grew 9.29% month-over-month. Chungcheong surged 18.99% — nearly double the national figure.
By date, Wednesday, January 25 saw the most bookings. Conversely, Sunday, January 8 and Saturday, January 21 tied for the slowest day.
By day of the week, Monday captured 16.78% of bookings and took the top spot. Saturday was the weakest.
Top 10 Destinations in Chungcheong — January 2023
Taean County (South Chungcheong) held #1 for the second month in a row.
Its share did slide 4.69 percentage points. The culprit? Yesan County's 3.38 pp surge.
Yesan posted the biggest month-over-month gain in Chungcheong — up 3.38 pp — vaulting from 5th to 4th place.
Gongju and Boryeong swapped spots to take #2 and #3, respectively.
The breakout performer: Danyang County (North Chungcheong).
Danyang didn't even rank in December. In January, it jumped 1.37 pp to claim #7 — a four-position leap.
