# What Amenities Do You Actually Offer?

What makes a great pension? A comfortable bed? Spotless upkeep?

Sure, the basics matter. But in a crowded market, the amenities you offer can make or break your differentiation.

So what are pensions on ONDA actually providing? And what should be considered standard in every room? We looked at the data.

### BBQ facilities dominate. By a mile.

Among registered amenities, BBQ facilities ranked #1 by a landslide. Pools came in second, followed by spas and on-site convenience stores. Surprisingly, seminar rooms cracked the top 10.

BBQ facilities are a revenue opportunity — and guests love them. List detailed pricing and what's included (equipment, charcoal, table setup) clearly on your website and listings.

This is one of the few touchpoints where you interact with guests during their stay. Make it memorable. (And yes, BBQ shots are some of the most common guest review photos.)

For pools, specify: additional fees, operating season, size, depth, and whether kids are allowed.

Pools often appear in your hero images. Make sure the shots are sharp. And swap out the pool photo for fall/winter — nothing kills interest like a cold-looking pool in December.

Spas and hot tubs should show cleanliness in photos. For convenience stores, note operating hours and what items you stock.

### These in-room items should be standard.

Next, we analyzed what's actually provided in rooms. While themed properties offer unique touches, here are the 10 most common items:

For a typical pension with cooking facilities, these should be considered baseline. Anything beyond this list? Call it out explicitly in your room descriptions.

### If it's not available, delete it. Seriously.

If an amenity is no longer available or an item is no longer provided, remove it from your listing immediately — text and photos.

Mismatched listings are the #1 cause of guest disputes. For seasonal amenities like pools, clearly state operating dates. Don't let guests assume it's open year-round.
