**🏨 Industry Story**

### **How Ssota Stay Konkuk Built a J-Curve (feat. OaTec)**

Last week, we stopped by the freshly renovated Ssota Stay Konkuk. The property recently implemented OaTec's OA PMS, a phone-based access system (no physical card keys—just a rotating passcode sent to guests' phones), and a self-service kiosk to lighten the front desk load.

On top of that, they integrated ONDA HUB with the OA PMS to connect with domestic and global OTAs—bringing in international travelers at higher ADRs.

In other words: Ssota Stay Konkuk outsourced online distribution to ONDA HUB, ran operations on OaTec's tech stack, and let ONDA&Song handle on-site management. The result? RevPAR and monthly revenue climbed 2–3x in just three months.

It's worth noting this is an older building. No major interior remodel. No paid advertising.

### **AI and the Future of Hospitality**

"AI won't replace humans—but humans with AI will replace humans without AI." (Source: [Harvard Business Review](https://hbr.org/2023/08/ai-wont-replace-humans-but-humans-with-ai-will-replace-humans-without-ai))

Since ChatGPT launched, generative AI has been reshaping nearly every industry.

Hotels are no exception. **AI's ability to analyze massive datasets, forecast demand, and make intelligent decisions is fundamentally changing how hotels operate.**

AI is already driving innovation across hotel operations, revenue management, sales, marketing, and guest experience. So how far has hotel AI actually come?
